To play, simply use your mouse to move across the map and draw a line to capture new land. When you close the circle, you’ll take all the enclosed tiles and start building your territory.
But be careful - when you’re off your territory, you’re at risk of being sliced by another player! To avoid this, try to capture at least 20% of the map to become the Hexanaut. If you can keep your territory over 20% for two minutes after becoming the Hexanaut, you’ll win the game!
And don’t worry if you’re eliminated while another player is the Hexanaut - you can always try again.
Now, let’s talk about capturing the totems! There are five different ones to collect, each with its own special power. The spreading totem will help you capture more land, the speed totem will give you a boost, the teleporting gate will let you travel quickly across the map, the slowing totem will give you an advantage over other players, and the spy dish will show you where other players’ territories are.
The spreading totem is especially helpful early on, as it will send out lasers to capture tiles one by one. The speed totem may seem small, but it can really add up once you have a few. The teleporting gate is great for covering a lot of ground quickly, and can also be a sneaky way to catch other players off guard.
The slowing totem is like a spider web - it will slow down every other player who enters the area, giving you a big advantage. And the spy dish will show you where other players are trying to take over your hexagons, so you can defend your territory.
