When you start playing, you’ll have the option to choose from four different control schemes to suit your playing style. Just select the one that feels most comfortable for you, and you’ll be all set!
Now, let’s talk about the different modes of Tag we have in our game. Each one has its own unique twist, so you’ll want to check them out and see which one you like best.
Points Tag
In this mode, one player is “IT” and has to chase down the others. If you’re not IT, you’ll earn points over time, but if you’re IT, you won’t earn any points at all. The first player to reach the target number of points wins!
Knockout Tag
In this mode, all players start with the same number of points. When you’re IT, you’ll lose points, and if you lose all your points, you’re out of the game! The last player standing wins.
Reverse Tag
In this mode, every player is “IT” except for one. When you’re not IT, you’ll lose points, but don’t worry - losing points is actually a good thing! The player who reaches zero points first wins.
Zombie Tag
This mode is a little different - it’s a multi-round game where one player starts as IT, and whenever they tag someone, that person becomes IT too! You’ll earn points for tagging others while you’re IT, and for avoiding being tagged until the end of the round. The first player to reach the max number of points wins!

Tag Game Tips
Here are a few tips to help you get better at the Tag game:
Keep your high ground
On every map, you’ll find platforms you can jump off of. Try to stay on the high ground so you have options to stay up there or drop down when you need to.
Move in midair
When you’re chasing or evading enemies, you’ll do a lot of jumping. One cool thing about Tag is that you can make tiny adjustments in midair after you jump. Use this to your advantage to get ahead!
Use the jumping tokens
Keep an eye out for special tokens that appear on the map. These tokens will give you the ability to jump higher than normal, giving you a big advantage over your opponents.
